This is a preview branch for developing the plugin-version of sub2api.
The branch starts from an empty state, keeping only README, LICENSE and
basic metadata files. It will be progressively built up as the plugin
architecture is incrementally introduced.
Note: this branch is not intended for release at the moment. It may
later replace main as the distribution branch once the plugin
architecture is mature.
